Car is a 1995 lt1 car with around 40k on the clock
well a few days ago the starter just wouldnt stop spinning the motor over. Well i changed the starter and now the car has started to stall and die out. and the tach also stopped working but all the symptoms stop when you turn the key to the off postion.
ANY IDEAS?
Of course all symptoms stop when the key is off, that's what off does. Try disconnecting the battery for about 20 minutes and reconnect. You got a short somewhere. Check all your underhood electrical connections and I bet you'll find it.

Descibe the stalling and dieing in more detail. I am wondering if this is the same problem my '95 had. Turned out to be the ECM. Easy fix, not real cheap, but easy.
