my oil temp guage on my 95' corvette wont go back to the coolest setting after the engine cools off... it nearly 200 degrees with a cold engine...anybody know if theres a way to calibrate it? i've already changes the sensor/sending unit....many thanks

You're talking about the analog guage right? What does the digital readout indicate?

yes the analog never returns to its normal setting on a cold engine...normal driving my engine temps run in low 200s
