If anything I think the boys at GM picked up a 2004 Viper . Took it into the design studio and said "This is how its got to look. Then they thought up the idea of saying "First non hidden headlamps since 1962" But either way its a amazing car. And who knows we may pick up a few old Viper owners along the way?

viper is an amazing car, a beast. i respect the viper on the road but i think it looks like a big clown shoe. the vette is great cause it has the history, the viper is still new. i think its been around or developed in 1990? that being said i would take a early model viper over same year vette though.

At least dodge kind of had it right with the early model vipers....
big cube v-10
IRS with decent gears
no windows
no AC
no top
no ABS
etc....
these older vipers are relatively "bare bones".
In fact, ABS wasn't added until much later. However, the viper is still one heck of a heavy vehicle! the heads on the v-10 aren't that great, and the modifications are ridiculously over-priced.
