For some reason my 2 keyless remotes stopped working.

I replaced the battery in one unit and have attempted numerous times to re-sync it but it won't work.

The icon comes up on the dash display and then blinks when I turn the key to off.

However, each time I bring the unit to the car - nothing. The icon keeps blinking and no sync.

Any suggestions? Is there some kind of reset I can do on the sensors or the computer?

 

Sounds like you have done all the right things but are in that gray area of which way to go. Ideally it would be good to confirm the operation of the FOBs. Either borrow a third one or try one of yours on another car.

I assume when you turn the key initially on the PKE lamp lights for 2 seconds or all bets are off, that has to happen. Sounds like you are getting to the correct programming spot where the PKE lamp flashes just before the FOB is brought into range. If it is the receiver, it is going to be hard to confirm since all functions seem to be OK up to that point. I would at least go thru the PKE self test of the unit itself. It is similar to getting the codes from the car except you ground another pin. The PKE lamp flashes that gives you any faults.

There is a little more to the test process and a procedure would definitely help. Unfortunately I am on the road this week and have no reference books. However I might not have the specific pin to ground for the PKE test because you have a 92 and the 94 which I have has a different ALDL connector. Possible someone else can chime in and fill in some of the blanks here.

After thought:
There does not sound like there is to much in puts and out puts to the receiver check to out since so much is working correctly. The only thing that come to mind are the antennas and their connections. Not an easy thing to get to and check out. However it would be unlikely that is the problem even though it sounds kind of logical. If no tests or checks show up anything, you might just have to replace the receiver to find out which might just fix it.
