Digital Dash Update
I got my digital dash fixed this weekend! The hardest part was waiting for a new headlight switch ****. Whatever I tried I couldn't get the old one off and I waited two weeks for a backorder from Eckler's, when they still didn't have the part I called Contemporary Corvette and they sent it right out. Got the old one cut off and the bezels removed and then I couldn't find the bolts that hold the dash on, looked behind these little round metal panels on the dash looking for them and saw the bulbs. That's all I needed to fix, got some new bulbs from Advance for 8.50 each because the ones I ordered from Corvette Central don't fit the original sockets and I was done. Didn't want to take it out and take it apart to solder it, it hasn't been acting up since I took the bezel off before, but I think I could do it. The only thing I was worrying about was taking the bottom circuit board off and having the lcd panels come out with it along with the rubber pieces and trying to get them put back in. Does anybody have some input on that? Is that really a problem?
