Here is my 91. I custom made the covers out of some C2 aftermarket covers. The exhaust is custom fabricated out of mandrel pipe and smog legal from the third cat back to the side exits. Turned out nice in my opinion and has a nice deep rumble. Enjoy!
Before and after...sort of...my friends 92 and my 91.
And a small video. This was a pre dyno run on a friends Mustang dyno. The dyno was new and my friend was having trouble with it, but at least you can hear the exhaust at about 30 seconds into the clip....

WOW! This is some thread! I know there are quite a few C4s out there that have side pipes. Don't be shy! I know it's not everyone's thing to do, but for us that have, we can see and learn what you have. Bump for those who dare to be different.
here is a picture of my 89 c4 with side pipes. they were put on at drm. not sure about the brand cause i bought the car post build but they sound freakin awesome. as far as i can tell there is only one cat that is attached to my hooker long tubes. http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/g...2/DSCN0454.jpg
