Ebay is now worthless !
Is anyone else experiencing problems with Ebay? It used to be easy to scroll down through the items I want to look at. Now it takes forever just to open one item. It seems as though 50 friggen pages have to open (slowly) just to view something, or it just freezes all together. Almost as if someone else is controlling it. I've tryed emptying files and deleting cookies with no success. It all seemed to get this slow once Ebay went to their "new improved" version. It's really strange that it all seemed to happen right when the big guy took office.
What do you guys think? I'm ready to give up on buying things there.

I tried Ebay. Lots of sharks on there mis-representing what they have. I have 199 purchases on ebay. There will never be a 200th.

Buyer beware...
My wife buys and sells on Ebay all the time - mostly jewelry, cosmetics, pottery. She has had very few problems. I just got a power window control switch for my truck last month - no probs. A few years back I got a piece of junk factory cd changer for my Volkswagen, but the seller gave me my money back after a small hassle. I think you've got to be careful and I'd be wary of buying a high-dollar item. People that buy vehicles sight unseen off Ebay have more money than I do.

I buy from Ebay. I've been lucky, fcked, got great deals and all other miscellaneous verbs that you may add.
I just bought chrome oil caps for both Vetes, they look great. I forgot that one of them is a LT1 and both came with the LT4 plaque.
There are axxhole vendors, they ad a part but use the fine print to specify details.

I love ebay for the sweet deals you can ******. However I do think that it has gotten slower as of late and the advertising is through the roof. If your able to put up with the slow connection you can still pick up some nice toys for pennies on the dollar.

No problems here. Sure, it's slower these days, but mostly when browsing multiple pics on an item.

Guess I've been lucky so far. I use it for small parts, office products and sporting goods.....
(ink cartridges, small paper products etc.). If you use ebay long enough, you will have a problem. Make sure its a small one.

Ebay is officially just an online flea market now. They really should change the name to fleabay. I mainly browse craigslist now and get my used parts MUCH cheaper, I can pick them up, and see them before purchasing. Gotta love that.

I have use of several computers work and home. On my oldest home system with windows 98 works like a phone line and loads slow and locks up. My laptop with XL is OK, both on wireless high speed.
I believe it is the additional ads and graphics that is making the difference. I think if your processor is running much under 1GHZ, it will start to make a difference.

But anyways, there is a jackass on there that sells alot of C4 parts for way too much money. Example: He has a USED NAPA throttle body hose for sale for $9.99 plus $6 shipping. So total is: $15.99
I laughed at him and told him that I could get a NEW OEM hose from the dealer for around $11. And that I could get a NEW NAPA hose from Napa for less than $9.99. Haha.
