i just bought my first corvette last night, I think i am going to have a ball with it. Quick question, the interior is trashed, what year model interiors fit with no problem, thanks for any help It is a 1987
Welcome and congrats on your toy. Lots of help here on the forum. If your interior is 'trashed', you'll be spending more than a few bucks to make it presentable. Photos and more specifics would help in getting some answers for you. Also, use the message title box to help members know what you're posting about.

Depends on which bits, and color. 84 red is carmine, I think 85 and up is flame red for example.
The interior for the 84-89 is substantially the same. Digital dash, same layout. In 90 the interior and dash were changed.
Bottom line, when you decide which part you want, do some research on compatiblity. I know, nothing is ever easy.
BTW, I own an 87, and interior bits and pieces are very expensive.
If you want to get a feel for prices (), check out ECKLERS.COM. They should have all the pieces you are looking for...but beware....Corvette parts are NOT CHEAP!!
Parts won't be too bad on price if you pace yourself. A little bit here and there instead of all at once. It's actually better in my opinion to do it this way as many of the interior parts you may want to replace won't look so bad when just the major ones are done.
Most vague thread title... EVER.
Good luck on the interior. Unfortunately I think you are about to spend more on fixing it than you paid for the car.
It's been said that if you have the choice between a Corvette with a blown engine and a good interior or one with a new engine and a trashed interior buy the one with the blown engine.
If you aren't picky and it doesn't have to be perfect, peruse the parts for sale section and post what you need. Good used stuff will go a long way. Check the Bay of e frequently as well, and check out Corvettesalvage.com

Cruise with used. Try www.vette2vette.com also. I will be stopping by there this weekend on my way to FunFest. What do you need? I will try to get a quote from them if you want.
I bought my 84 and the interior was dirty, sort of beat, but no major items totally trashed. Basically, missing screws, cracked/loose plastic trim, tore up seats, dirty carpet, ripped up rear speaker covers etc.
I started by cleaning everything, repairing plastic trim pieces (Places like Eastwood have kits). Installed new synthetic leather (vinyl) seat covers off of EBAY for $230.00 delivered, installed replacement speaker material covering etc. ... just kept chipping away, spent no more than $400.00 and the interior went from "beat" to "sweet" at a reasonable cost, not counting a ton of my free labor... which is the "fun" part of have old cars right!

That's the best way to do it unless you're trying to build a show car.
