Windshield Wiper Problem/Issue
Ok, have a 90 coupe and everytime i turn on the windshield wipers they work fine. Problem is when i go to shut them off nothing happens, they keep wiping. Now, if i shut of the car and start it back up they'll go back down into the hood and stop, but they don't stop by my wiper control arm alone. Any ideas?

Haven't had the one apart on my Vette yet, but it looks very similar to the one on my '93 Mustang that I did fix easily. On the end of the wiper motor is a plastic cap with the power wires plugged into it. If it is anything like the Ford one, inside it there is a rotating wiper that goes around a copper track. The contacts and track get gunked up with old hard grease and corrosion and don't make good connection where the track is supposed to release an intermittent wipe and shut off relay. Clean the wiper and track with alcohol and a scotchbrite pad, reassemble the cap and it should be ok.

It sounds like the switch. I'm having some issues with my switch also.
