Default Problem with test ALDL

Hi!

My english is not perfect, but I hope to make me understand.

I have a question about a test ALDL for my C4 '91.

- I turn the key on start without starting the engine.
- I connect the pins A and B (as is written here http://www.corvettebuyers.com/c4vettes/codes.htm)
- the fans starting
- but the 1 flash and the other 2 flashes not appear!!!!!!

The car does not give me any code! Only the fans starting, but only the fans...

someone can give me a hand?

Thanks very very much!!!

Without connecting pins A & B does the Check Engine light illuminate steady when you turn the key to the "ON" position?
