Under Hood Mirror Kit

Does anyone have an under hood mirror kit on their vette? I have seen it on several vettes this summer and am thinking of putting the kit on my 86. I would like to see some pictures if possible.

got windex? It would be my luck I would hit a bump, bust the mirror. cut my belt and tires and send me in to a Lexus.

I seen someone on ebay selling stainless steal kits. It even had a cool etched c4 logo on it. price was $179 if I remember right. it's been a few weeks

It's actually stainless steel. I found the kit on eBay a few years back.

It's going a little slow car is running like a champ since the new drivetrain went in....and of course the hood panels still look great. Still workin' on the interior install and have gotten into changing out some of the body panels mouldings out trying to get ready for some paint. Will get it all done when I find some extra time.

I attached mine with velcro 2 years ago and they are still in place. Some people use an adhesive.

I have a Stainless kit on mine that I bought on Ebay for about $200. No etchings(yet), attached with Velcro. No pictures yet, sorry.

I'm thinking about getting some for my '85 but don't know if it's gonna create more heat under the hood. have you noticed any extra niddle movements on longer trips? Or any discolorations?

Nope, no rise in temps and no discolorations at all.
