Default 89 dash cluster

I own an 89 corvette, my dash cluster is turning yellow and I can no longer see the guages. I was going to purchase a used cluster but i'm not sure if all the C4 cluster are interchangable. Can anyone tell me if ther all the same.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure there are differences. Especially the 84 cars.

Send yours off and have it rebuilt.

You just need new LCD panels not a new cluster. You can buy panels for ~$100 each on flEaBAY. THe panels are easy to swap. The panels in an 84 are only for an 84. All the speedo & center DIC information panels are the same for 85-89. The tach panels are different for each year but are interchangable on some years. UV burn from the sun's rays has caused your cluster to look the way it does now. If you replace the entire cluster any 84-89 will work. If it were me I'd just by the panels rather than take a gamble on an unproven "used" cluster. '89 cluster is a much better cluster than its predecessors.

The thing is to replace all three LCDs will cost $300 plus shipping. You could more than likely pick up a good used one for less than that. One that is not working for even less.

Give these guys a call. They say they have good used LCDs for $50 each. You might even want them to refurbish your cluster while replacing the panels.

The $300 flEaBAY price includes the shipping....you might even get a price break if you play your cards right by buying all 3 at once. So it might just be $280 for the panels.

For LCD'S only? Holy crap! Is the Dealer Exchange program gone? If I remember right, that wasn't any more than $300 for the whole deal.
