Corvette Show ???
I just got home a while ago from the Houston Corvette Show. What a lame piece of crap. It seems that each year there are fewer vendors and fewer cars. Are any of you seeing this nationwide or is Houston just a bad place for these shows? Vette Brakes was there and brought NO PRODUCTS to sell. I wanted some parts and they told me they didn't like carrying inventory everywhere. Just a thought, but if you actually SELL IT, you don't have to carry it very far. I was sorely disappointed. Used parts were pure trash. Nobody was giving price breaks as they did in years past. I think I'll pass next year. Oh yeah, the bikini contest was even more lame. I've seen better at Hooters. :confused:

Vettefest in Chicago has seen better days, but I keep going back. Actually, it's this weekend, and a bunch of the local guys will be there, so at least we'll have company. :)

You're right, no pin, but the fact that I didn't stay for a bikini contest is truly a commentary on the contestants I saw. So, am I over reacting? What did your ex-boss think of it? I want to go to Carlisle(sp?) or someplace with a REAL SHOW !!
