Air Injection Control Valve missing...
So I don't even know what the crap that is, but my car failed emissions twice. So I gave up, took it to the shop, and after a full day of rummaging around, they discovered that this part is completely gone from the car, and it won't be able to pass emissions without it. I have called the GM dealer nearby and they said this part number (17085740) was discontinued... I can't seem to find it anywhere, so I concur. Does anybody know if there is anything I can do to get around this, or is there another car that uses a similar part that will work? I'm getting desperate here, this is my only car (my own dumbass fault, I know), and I won't be able to drive it in a week if this keeps up....

What year is your car?? I just removed the whole shebang from my 85.. Intake air system etc.. so I may have all this stuff.. and im in the same area as you are.make ya heck of a deal..lol
