I even wave over here...and I'm sure most Italians don't know what the wave is all about. Most of the waves have been to the other three Americans here with Vettes. I've waived once to an Italian in a C4 and received an big wave back!
I like c4 styling as well, it just reeks corvette, as C5 really doesn't say corvette much.
C4's are very unique, no other car on the road looks like them. Many cars look like c5's.
Plus the C4 to me, is a classy cheeta laying down ready to strike!
While the C5 has this bubbly female passive look going on.
Having both, I have to say I like the C4 styling better!!
As far as the driving experience, there are things I like about both. *My* C4 has brutal power that my C5 lacks, but the handling on my Z-51 C5 is much better than on the C4. I prefer my C4 in a straight line, but the C5 hands down in the curves!
Here- read this about when the C3s were the new kids on the block and the midyears and C1s were moaning about being dissed by them. Things just don't change much do they? http://www.vettenet.org/vettewav.txt

Re: Wave "this"... (Sal Collaziano)
Hey Sal.....I got yer "wave" right here :smash:
...seriously....just keep waving :seeya :seeya :seeya I do...no matter what generation. Don't let it bother you if they don't wave :nonod: some people just don't get it. Good luck with the Vette
Over this last year, I've read many threads on the wave.
Some are offended when the cheerful wave is not requited.
Perhaps a change in attitude is in order: To wit -- think of it
as waving to THE CAR not to the driver. This way there
can never be any offense...
