There's a speed trap on my way home from work that's about 1 1/2 mi. long with only a few houses and intersections on it. Speed limit 30.
It was after midnight with no one else in sight. I was curious as to how slow can I go? The lowest speed my cruise control would activate was 24 mph.
So, I'm crawling down the road and see the ominous reflection of those dreaded municipal decals on the side of a patrol car. (Parked behind some bushes at my local golf course)
I guess I picked a good night to experiment with it. I waved as I passed, to show that he wasn't as hidden as he thought.
I'm sure he had nothing but nice things to say as I passed by.

Reason: correcting use of improper pronouns
28mph is about as slow as mine will go. If there is any hill involved that would cause a variation, speeding up then backing off by the cruise, it will cause it to disengage when it bounces below that speed. 30mph areas are tough to do. 35 isn't hard but for some reason 30 is damn near impossible to maintain smoothly.
