I brought my car into a good local tire shop to be road force balanced. I picked this shop based on the fact they owned the Hunter balancer and a good reputation.
When it came to the rear right wheel, they showed me an approx 3/8" runout. Interestingly enough they were able to balance the wheels and improve the ride even with a wheel which was not quite true.
My ? is: What would cause this? Is it more likely from crazy tire spinning abuse, improper installation, old age?
I don't pull many hole shots with the mighty 2:59 rear end btw, the PO doesn't look the type either...
