Seems I recall reading an ad from the son of an ex frighter pilot who had a vette for sale and he was the original onwer. Seems he bought it when he got back from Iraq in 91.

I agree. Based my my work/travel experiences, they have full discression to call something a weapon, and if it exceeds 6 inches in length, they can confiscate it also. I lost a $50 digital dial caliper because it could be a weapon in their eyes.

Go ahead and check your tools, you're more likely to lose them to the TSA trying to carry them on.
I fly every week and check my suitcase every week, they haven't lost it yet and that's been with over 300 flights during the last two years. Its been delayed a few times but that's the limit of it.

That is my buddies, the black '89 that was parked next to me at Carlisle. He did spend an arm and a leg on that,took him 15 years to decide tho . He did get a celeberty pick this year
