Seems I recall reading an ad from the son of an ex frighter pilot who had a vette for sale and he was the original onwer. Seems he bought it when he got back from Iraq in 91.

Go ahead and check your tools, you're more likely to lose them to the TSA trying to carry them on.
I fly every week and check my suitcase every week, they haven't lost it yet and that's been with over 300 flights during the last two years. Its been delayed a few times but that's the limit of it.
