Default CorvetteHID.com

I'm in the market for HID kits for my car and read that CorvetteHID.com has a kit for the fog lights for my 86 Corvette that comes with a special adapter to hol the bulb in place or has something to do with the connector. Does anybody have a picture of this so I can see exactly what it is I've contacted Yosi and he told me 2 times he would send a picture to me but never does. Better yet can someone explain to me the way they secured their HID bulb into the foglight that did not buy from Corvettehid.com Thanks

HIDs are a duplicate of OEMs. They twist in just as a replacement bulb would do. The only difference is they are a brighter bulb with a ballast. They should just plug in. I have HIDs fromm Corvettehid. I can't complain about mine. They work great.

Thanks guys but I have installed HID's in several cars but what I am asking is in the C4 corvette the way the bulb is so deep inside the light you have that long grey holder how is everyone wiring the bulbs up since the factory plug is inside the light and with the HID bulb it isn't.

Mine came with an adapter, I put the light in and then conneted the ballast and then used the new connector to the light and to the old OEM plug. NO issues at all just plug and play.

Contrary to popular belief, GM did make running changes within model years and also between exterior upgrades. One of them being 84-90 & 91-96. So your statement of just putting the bulb in does not apply for the OP.

Where I saw it first.

Makes since. I have a 93 and have only worked and learned on my car, makes since since the bumpers changed that the lights would change ti, but I would assume that corvette hid has a plug and play kit since he had one for 91-96.

Is there any increase in heat with the HID's that would cause any problems?
