Door Panels

I have a Black 1985 vette and I would like to know where I can get some Door pnls as they are pulling away from the door. Also what is a good price for fixing a exuast pipe that has broken away from the muffler or to replace the whole thing.

Thanks for the replys that helps a lot. Another interesting problem maybe you guys have experianced it. I was unable to start my car lights would come one digital display would work but I could not get the car to start nor did I hear a clicking sound of the solinoid. I took the battery into autozone and it was bad. I replaced it and took the new one home installed it and the car worked. The next day I go to start the car it dose not start same issue. A few days later I try to start my car and it starts for some reason I drive it over put air in the tires take it home wash start it again and then put it into the garage. This morning I go to start it to go to work dose nto start same issue. Dose my car have a spirit resideing in it.

My door panel was pulling away on the drivers side and the dealer wanted $600 + to fix it. I took it to an upholstery shop and he did it for about $30 and three years later it is still O. K. I do not know if this will work, but for the money it might be worth a try.

Sounds to me like starter is bad. If it gets a bad spot it may be intermittent - mine was the same way. It was like the lottery whether or not it would start on a given day. Luckily starters are cheap.

Door panels are pricey for sure, going through the same issue with mine in trying to restore - I've been watching ebay and craigslist (www.craiglook.com for searching all craigslists) for a good used set and have managed to find a passenger one and now need the driver's. Will just be patient and hope one comes along
