I'm glad Doug's car went to someone who's going to appreciate it too. I drooled over that car for months. Welcome to the (sometimes dysfunctional) C4 family.
Thanks and I'm still drooling myself, though I'm careful not to mess up the leather seats while I'm driving it. I loooooove my Torch Red 'Vette!!! It gets parked at Lockheed at the Skunk Works among the C5's and C6's and it's still the brigthest, stand-out car among the bunch. Gotta love the C4 and I lucked out getting this superb machine. She is a beauty and I am thankful everytime I get in and turn the key and the LT1 cranks to life. The motor actually rocks the car when it fires up!

Great! Another Red Vette! Welcome, I used to work in beautiful Burbank Lockheed with a 'red badge' long long ago with Kelly Johnson. Didn't even know the old Skunk works still existed. Had many a day in that place during the U-2 design before it went to Groom Lake.
I am SOOO happy that the car ended up with someone who appreciates the car and I am sure will be taking car of it. Although I tended to drive the car like an old lady, I always knew the engine was strong and had plenty of power for my needs. By the way, I got in the habit of driving it with the ASR "traction control" switched off as the slightest bump in the road or wet spot would cause the ASR to kick in and it was very disconcerting to suddenly find the accelerator pedal pushing back on your foot.
