Default Has Spring Arrived???

Just had to announce that I drove her today and it was great! Here in Jersey we had the salt monsters come around and turn the streets white, but yesterday it rained hard. Now it is nice and dry with no salt!!!!!!

I took her out and was like, "wow, its pretty nice out let me roll down the windows" then I stopped and was like, "let me take the top down!!!!!!"

Drove for like 2 hours and I had a smile on my face for every mile! Also had 3 waves from other Vettes taking advantage of this great weather! (they didnt have their tops off though)

Then I went home and cleaned and detailed her because classes start in a few days so...
By the way, I went ice fishing 3 days ago in 20 degree weather. Now I have the top down.

Super Pumped so I had to let everyone know!

Sounds like a great but kind of a strange day. Going from ice fishing to top down driving is a Big change in a few days . Any time you can get the vette out this time year is a great day. Hope you get more days like this.

It has arrived here, I hope. 2 weeks of above normal temps, has melted the foot of snow we had. Sunny and about 50* toady. Golfed yesterday, now I'm thinking about firing the lawn mower up.
Haven't even thought about my winter projects yet, so the vette will continue to rest in the Den.

We're getting nothing but fog here and they're calling for rain for the rest of the week. Oh well spring will be here before we know it.

Default Yeah it was here

I'm with you Dog. I went to work early this morning, but when I went home for lunch I had to take the Vette back to work. Roof came off also. 'It must be done.' I made sure I took the long way home from work and asked wifey if she needed me to pick anything up. I know its just a tease but it was nice to have the roof off. Enjoy

50* for 2 days in a row near DC, and took the '71 for a ride after I put the distributor back in it Sunday.

I'm not so picky about taking the '88 out during the winter as long as the roads are clear and dry.

Every day is spring in the Southwest....except for those periodic cold fronts that Sweet90 will be along to remind me about if I don't put that disclaimer in there

Since the salt is gone I think I'll hook up the battery and take the vette out also.

I did the same thing here...Ran to the garage that my 88 is stored at, connected the battery and fired her up. Went for a nice little drive. The tires were a bit flat spotted but worked their way out. It just feels good driving in January!!! I didnt pop the roof off though. Couple of weeks back it was a bit nice out also with no salt on the roads. My 71 stretched its legs then..... cant wait till spring!!

It isn't much, but your misery, short lived as it is brings
me a little joy during the long cold winter

38 here and sunny in Chicago. Streets are dry and its nice. I took the cover off and took her out. Had a tear in my eye as I took the first turn. Felt like I did when my daughter was born. Drove her for about 2 hours. MAN, was it nice. I miss not driving her. Can't wait for spring here.
My wife called me on my cell and said, your in your corvette aren't you?
LOL, She knew. She said I thought so.
God I love this car. I can honestly say, this car makes me happy no matter what else is going on in my life. I always feel better after I drive it.
