I'm interested in getting a dash mat or dash cover for my 96. I've noticed on sunny days, that I get a glare from the black surface that reflects on the windshield and makes it difficult to see clearly.
Looks similar to this: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...0&dept_id=1591
I got one from Mid-America. It was made well, but you had to stick velcro strips to the dashboard to keep it from sliding off. The thought of the mess if the glue did not hold when it got hot, made me decide to leave it off. I now dress the dash every month.
My fiance Deb had one on her 87 for years and we just removed it, as the foam was rotting off. It just sat up there and never seemed to move. Maybe enough surface friction, that it would stay in place. But we left it off for good, as there was no provision in it for the speakers on the dash. The next one will have some kind of grill-cloth opening so you can hear the speakers.
Me? I use a sunshade whenever the car is parked, so the dash doesn't get any sun in the summertime.
I'm sure the one in your link is good. I saved a few bucks and got one for my 84 off flea bay for < $30. Definately helps with the glare and for those of us who don't like looking at the one crack in our dash it's great!

I see people just about throwing these away sometimes.
I put one on mt C3, pretty simple fit. I considered one for my 93 but it looks a little complicated and didn't really like the way it look in the catalog. Any pics out there?
I would like to see one in a member's car..........
Not a great pic but my son took one with his phone camera while I was driving to Laughlin. I bought it used here and it has the correct "C4" script logo where the glovebox is. They are great to protect the dash from the Arizona summers. This is the best one I have seen for the C4.
By the way my C4 didnt melt in the rain.

Sent the guy an email for more information before I buy it.
I order one of those for my Dodge ram. At first I didn't like it because it was such a difference. But now I am getting use to it and I actually like it.
I was impressed with the fit. I am not crazy about the texture of it, it is like a fuzzy mat. But overall I am happy with it.
Be careful what color you order, the colors aren't exact in the picture, but if you go with black I don't think you could go wrong. The company was easy to work with as well. And for the price, what the heck if you don't like it you could get your money back by selling it on here.

Yeah I was going to get black because the dash color is black. Waiting for the guy to answer my email before I order it. I just want one to eliminate the glare.
