I have a 1992 Coupe. Another Forum member was nice enough to help me
out on all of the RPO codes, he too thought the number was a Z but after
checking twice, it is in fact a 2. I've heard that there are some codes that
appear but don't seem to have any meaning that can be found.
I guess I'm looking at the $40/$70 for build paperwork from the Corvette
Museum - maybe that will have something (awful expensive if it doesn't
however!).
Just bought the car last Thursday as a graduation present (pre-college)
for my son - car is currently in storage but will be going to a Corvette
Restoration facility for a complete run-through next week. If all goes
well, my son will get the car first week of April. (unless my wife can't
pry it from my hands!). ;>)
Hey... what can I tall 'ya - I know what's listed on the tag.
Its a fact that GM (as well as other manufacturers) use "common" parts
amoung different vehicle lines/brands within their "family" of products.
After all, Chevette vs Corvette - there's only "he" vs "or" - its that close.
Perhaps the common part between the two is the LT1??
:crazy:
I looked in my 84-88 Parts and Illustration manual and they didn't list E92 (E89 and E94 were the closest). You may be able to find it in later 84-92+ Parts and Illustration manual.
I've got a few for my 85 I can't seem to verify either. I thought I had these decoded and I would bet $ the codes are correct but I just got my 84-87 parts manual and these were not even listed. I dont remember where I originally got the info from;
BGR (bowling green plant processing);
D3X (gear driven speedometer);
D9B (sensor);
EZ5 (speedo adapter-delete);
MXO (either auto trans w/od or merchandising option-do not catalogue?);
V73 (vehical statement US/Canada);
WB2 ( promotional package- monday night special :lol: );
Z31 (handling package);
1AY (order modification stock)
FWIW...the WB2 is only listed for years 76-82 in the book??
