Default Felt good

Yesterday, had the 87 out for a drive like I usually do on the weekends. Was sitting at a red light and thinking about how I was going to get into the right hand turn lane to get onto the on ramp for the interstate about a mile down the road. Light turns green and I started quickly off the line, next thing I know the Impala next to me is neck and neck, where up to 50 in no time, so I said "OK" and stepped on it. Left him in the rear view mirror. Now I'm 65 and usually drive a 92 Tercel as a DD. I haven't beat the .... out of another car since I was 17, felt good.

Dragged should be replaced with spirited driving or something similar just to be politically correct.

Sweet! Was the Impala an SS? The 04 and 05 SS are supercharged and I heard there quick!

It's not the term "dragging" that will anger the gods. There is a long standing forum policy that prohibits discussing street racing in any form, as it is illegal and dangerous.

Save it for the track.

Let's all hold hands and sing kumbaya. Let's trade our Corvettes in and buy Corolla's, Altima's or Civics. While we're at it, let's just give up our firearms and submit meekly. I say screw PC and everything associated with it. Screw not legally passing a slow line of cars doing 15 mph under the speed limit. Hell, I whalloped a whole line of slowpokes the other day and the numbers were almost triple digit by the time I got there (of course that was the temp gauge ...). Thank God for a high-winding Chevy Small Block and I don't care what the meek and the mild think. That's why I'm glad I've got a RED Corvette, it's the best FU color out there. What we're seeing is the pussification of America. "Can't we all get along?" No we can't and quit making excuses while you're at it.

The reason I'm po'd today, they raised by a big amount all the traffic fines here in California. Add that to the DMV fees, the gas fees and everything else they're raising and it's starting to **** me off.

God Bless America or what's left of it.
