About 4 months ago I overheard my auto teacher talking on the phone about a Grandsport, (my school gets actual customer work, its kind of like a business) I started asking him about it and he said it needed a new pressure plate and throw out bearing. Ever since that day Ive been asking him about when its coming in and he just kept saying he didnt know if he would get involved or not. After bothering him about it every day he finally said "ill probably get it in after christmas break" so after christmas break i continued to bother him about it. Today I walked by him and he said it was coming in later today. He said he is getting it in just because of me. (because i bothered him so much) I cant wait, tomarrow i get to start on it.
You guys are relentless....the poor n00b is sitting in a corner somewhere with his tail between his legs looking at a dead GS and contemplating the meaning of life.

???? Im sorry if my story sounds corny or bores you.I thought you guys might find it interesting that i get to work on a Grandsport because they are a very special corvette, I figured as soon as I said Grandsport you guys would be asking questions like what suspention it is equipped with (F45, Z51 , ETC.) or if it had red or black interior and so on. I guess I was wrong, you could care less about Grandsports. I thought you guys would give me advice about the work I will be doing (some of you might have already did this on your own 6 speed c4) I guess I was wrong there too. You probably wouldnt understand anyway. I was going to post pictures but its just going to be a waste of time, you dont care. I really did expect more out of you guys. I bet the majority of you dont even work on your own cars or dont know what im even talking about so you decide to make fun of me on a forum with pictures, keep it up.

Hey buddy, you just need a thicker skin around here, just the way the forum is. If you need advice on how to do the work, just ask. Plenty of people here work on their own cars.
Your opening post basically boils down to: Today you will see a Corvette.
Don't get mad that that doesn't really do anything for most people. Most of us see one every day.
That's great you seem to know a lot about them in terms of suspension options and whatnot. Though, they are the same options any 1996 Corvette had. If you do the work and take some pictures, that is an interesting thread. A thread about how you are going to do that later, not so much.

Relax, your original post made little sense, no one really knew where you were going with it.
When you have some pics and needs some help, people will be happy to get involved, but don't get so worked up. Your post was confusing and you never followed up on the questions that were raised so it was like open season. Just a little fun, that's all.
