It was a very nice day today about 65, So of course I had the top off, I'm at my friends house (leaving the top off) I come out at 11p.m. to notice water on my friends car, but it's not raining out, so I walk over to my car open the door the lights come on and my interior is soaked! Not happy. :( Does anyone else have this kind of luck or is it just me?
Yes we do. I'd only had the 85 three months when my husband left the passenger's side window about 5" down for our worst snowstorm (this was when we lived in Chicago.) It snowed 21" and I didn't notice the window was down for about 3 days. I dusted the snow out the best I could but it had melted some how and froze into the carpet. it literally took about 3 months to fully dry out because the weather was so cold!
I always put the top back on if the car is going to be out of my sight and don't just place it on, I bolt it down, I've heard too many stories here of guys who have just place the top on and then later drive away and the top goes flying off.

I used to drive a motorcycle and when I would leave the house the sun was shining, when I would get 20 miles down the road the sky would open on me out of nowhere. This happened too many times to count and there was never a bridge around to hide under. Raindrops hurt when they hit you @ 60 miles an hour , LOL. Guy
