Zaino VS Turtle Wax
Neither me, my wife nor my daughter can tell any difference between the two halfs of the hood. Even looking into the direct sunlight reflection, no difference that we can tell.
I'm not saying that Zaino is a bad product at all, but from what I read, it was supposed to be the Cat's Meow.
I'll give Zaino one boost, it doesn't leave a film in creases and hard to reach places that turtle takes forever to remove.
I see no measurable differenece between the two product except Zaino ( both products ) ran $50.00 or so, and the Turtle costs $6.00.
My $0.02.

with all of you.A year ago this guy from San Diego bought a new C6. I saw the car 3 hours after it left the dealer, it was cleaned and shinny. He ordered Zaino and did the 25 coats they want you to apply etc.
I could notice a difference.
Last year I took my LT1 to a car show and this Z06 owner asked if I used Zaino in my Vette. I said, "No, I used Armor-All's car wash and Adam's detailers spray"

Came back to Zaino for durability...ease of application....and several other reasons....
But...whatever floats yer boat!

Drive a clean Corvette, however you get there, or GFO!

so, without taking sides,
1) - i wax (or polish) my corvettes more often than the wax durability thing becomes an issue.
2) - i pretty much did the same thing as the OP - i waxed (or polished) half my black Z06 with Zaino, and the other half with turtle wax ICE - went to a corvette show, and guess what - nobody noticed anything - go figure...
3) IMHO, all wax and polish is 90% hype, 10% fact -- cost wise, somewhere you hit the point of diminishing return. i've probably tried 50 different types, and the results were all pretty much the same. if you have good, glossy paint, just about any quality wax or polish will provide you enough protection between waxings. so if i have to spend $60, and several hours on a 2-3 step process, or $10 on a one step, half hour process -- guess what route i'm going...
here's a pic of my ICE'd black z06 next to a friends "zaino'd" red z06 - i know it's just a pic, but i can tell you, i got as many (shine) comments on my black "Z" as his red "Z" - (and that would kinda pi$$ him off -
)

I remember using meguiars 3 step. After a week, about 5 washes for me as I usually wash the car after every drive, the meguiars was almost gone. I knew it was because when I reapplied it I noticed a dramatic difference.
Same cant be said for Zaino in my experience. Which is complimenting Zaino. WHen I reapply It almost looks the same as before.
Will I ever buy it again? No.
