A lot of the posts treat paint as some magic that has to be done by someone else in their shop, or you can't do it yourself. I don't agree.

I have done a bunch of them in the garage and they came out fine. While I agree that they are not as good as show car paint, they were very nice and I was proud to show off the cars I painted.

For me it was no choice. I simply could not afford to have a professional restore my cars, so I did it myself. The pictures below are some of them that I painted in the garage.

Sorry for the poor pictures. I couldn't find pictures of some cars, and even these pictures were printed from film pictures and then scanned so they lost quite a bit of quality, but I think you can see they came out pretty good.
