ok, just changed my front left hub bearing-easy job! I still have a very annoying vibration at 45-50mphfeels like i'm driving across a metal grated brigde Its intermitatent but is driving me crazy.. i've replaced rotors, calipers, hoses, pads, and master cylinder. front wheels were just balanced...u-joint????????????
Check the tire for strange tread ware. Spin the rims/wheels on the car and check for bent rims and or out of round tires. U joints don't usually cause vibrations until your going a bit faster but those might be worth checking.
Maybe you have corrected the problem by now?
Anyway:
I had vibration on my 84 after purchasing new BFG G-Force tires.
Finally on my third try, a guy was able to balance my wheels and tires using a dynamic balance.
This guy was not a tire/wheel/repair shop, but had a professional balancing shop for motors, shafts, etc..
My OEM wheels are not perfectly round, but he still managed to get it right the first time.
I would start with the balancing next, as my C4 has never been known to have alignment issues after 20 years.
