Off the top of my head... it can change the speedo to match a gear change.. turn the fans on sooner to go along with a cooler T-stat and will also increase the timing curve. Lots of members use them... mostly for the gear change/fan settings thou.
whups.. can also increase the shift points/firmness and raise the rev limiter.

I have one. The power tuning, well I think I like my stock GM tuning better. The increased shift firmness option is like installing a shift kit. Has all the other options already mentioned. Handy for programming the ECM to turn on the radiator cooling fans at lower temps than the stock setting which I think is 230 F (!).

Its nothing more than a overpriced fan switch. If you have any real mods(other than bolt ons) get your PCM custom tuned on a dyno. If you just want your fans to come on earlier and have a neat toy to play with get the HPP.
