Corvette owners do not live by the Corvette Forum alone!

Thanks, JonM. I sync this to my Palm but never go there. I'm going to wander around there for a while.

It's a cool place. They run vBulletin software. Very informative website AND crowd. But, for some reason or another, I spend 90% of all my Vette time here. There's just something about this place I like better. But, like I said, the Corvette Action Center is very nice.

Default need advise on exhaust changes

1989 corvette, automatic, k&n air filter, other then that stock including exhaust. 46000 miles

In my state, my car does not have to have emissions test anymore, just safety check

I would like to make some changes to my stock exhaust system
Mine is Calif. car, so it has two pre cats, and one main cat.

My options are to take out all three cats, and change out muffers or
Take out two pre cats, and replace main cat with newer high flow cat and change mufflers or leave it all alone

Although I don't have to have test anymore, I'm a little worried that at the safety check, they will notice no main cat and give me a problem anyone have some info on same problem?

thanks in advance

I'm also wandering if I will really notice a difference on the stree tmaking it worth it.

You can't just dig up a 12 year old thread and start posting on it. Go to the top and start a new thread asking your question......WW
