[POLL] Better daily driver...........
1. Both are manual trans cars so for daily commuter use they would be a pain.
2. Both are no longer under factory warranty so be prepared to spend $$.
If I had to count on either one to get me to work I would pick the LT4. In reality I would rather have a "new" car under warranty to ensure that I am at work everyday instead of at the parts counter.

Well mine is a daily driver and so far I haven't made a trip to the parts counter yet, except to pick up a new PKE transmitter. One day I may have to go to the dreaded parts counter but I will sure have a lot of smiles under my belt. Did I say miles or smiles...i guess with driveing a vette both words are synonamus. ;)
Every used car I have had or have had to deal with has let me down. It is the little things that wear due to time & use that drives me nuts. Things like slow or broken headlight motors, oil leaks, rattles, switchgear not working properly, stumbling engines.
Only new cars for me for daily commuting. They do make "new" Corvettes that make excellent, reliable daily drivers if you wish to keep your "smiles per miles" worry free. :D

My daily driver is an LT4 convertible. Since I don't like traffic, I make a point of getting on the road before everyone else so I can have a blast driving my LT4.
I am mechanically inclined and I like doing my own maintenance.
For me, the cost of driving a Corvette daily over a Saturn is money well spent. (And I spent less on the vette than I would have on any new car I would have considered.)

main reason I own an auto is because my car is a daily driver.. I don't want to be stuck in Tampa traffic day in and day out with a stick.
Now this leaves me in a tight spot as my next car will be either an FRC or a ZR1... what a tight spot to be in :)

Say what you want about miles, but everyone knows the lower the better.... I wished I hadn't driven up the miles
[edit] Back to the topic, I would get the LT4 for a daily driver, but Z's are sweeet :yesnod:

I say ZR-1. If you buy a corvette, drive it and enjoy it. Who knows what will happen tomorrow. And why would you not drive your vette to just keep the miles down? Are you saving it for someone else?
You could die tomorrow. Enjoy what you have NOW.
