When I got my new rims and tires all ready mounted and balanced. I was pretty excited to get them and put them on the wrong side..tires are directional..before I noticed this..they rode smooth no vibration or anything..I drove them about 10 miles..I stopped at a friends garage and I put them on the right way.tires mounted the correct way..vibration..but not all the time..sometimes worse than other times..any ideas? I let this go on for about a year...I don't drive it all the time, but when I do this can get annoying...

If you did any spirited accelerations with freshly mounted tires, you can actually spin the tires on the rims..You may want to have them rebalanced. Also, loosen your lug nuts and re-torque in a proper star pattern.
If the car sits for long periods, some tires will take a set (flat spot) that causes a vibration untill they heat up.

No spirited accelerations...took it easy on them for awhile...they have been re-torqued a couple of times...the last with new brakes and rotors..
vibration before the brakes and rotors...even after warm up they still vibrate..thanks for the reply..maybe I'll try the rebalance..
