Confused
I'm new here and I'm trying to find out some info. I have a 1992 C4 Corvette LT1 with a third brake light that has limited edition on it. You can't go out and buy these, so it was put there for a reason. I can't find ANY info about a 1992 Limited Edition Corvette. Anyone here able to find anything out? I'll post pictures of the third light, rear of the car, and the door tag. Hopefully someone will be able to help me out.

I checked the sticker. Standard VIN, yadda yadda. You can't buy a limited edition chrome cover to fit this car. I didn't put it on, so where did it come from? I know what the VIN says, I'm just wondering where the limited edition comes from.
I've been racking my head since I bought the car 4 months ago. I might add I got it for $33 but that's another story. So, I know the guy I got it from wouldn't benifit from giting something made, so where did it come from?

I took the pictures at night, so the flash for some reason made it look black. I'll post new pictures tomorrow without the flash and you'll see it's chrome. Trust me, I didn't put it on, the person I got it from didn't put it on, and this is a solid steel piece that is chromed. Not black paper here!!
This isn't a cheesy install. If someone added this to this car, they spent ALOT of time doing it. The plate fits perfect, the third brake light is sunk perfect, and it's not a crappy install. I'll post better picture tomorrow. Trust me, I'm scratching my head on this!!

There is no such animal as a limited edition '92. The pics you took of the door stickers are useless for the info you are looking for, you need the RPO sticker under the rear storage compartment lid. Even then i don't think you will find anything surprising. Enjoy the car for what it is...yours!

, but Still Fake, tell us what makes you beleive it is reall other than it has a sticker. Some guys put Zr1 logos on their cars, but they are still not Zr1 cars. IMO you should enjoy it, or throw it away.
