Loosen all the 9/32 screws that attach the large inner dash vent. Then drill these rivets out and you can remove the whole right dash frame. then pull up on that center inner vent duct and you will have a lot of rome to play with.





Oh boy, that looks familiar! It's been a while since I did mine....Not too bad, with detailed instructions and a lot of patience! The dealer quoted me $700.00, so I did it myself. Core was about $50...

I was totally new to vettes, only driven mine about 2-3 times! when i replaced my heater core!
PITA i admit and not sure if i would do it again, but i am glad i did it the first time!

I took the seat out and wedged myself into the footwell!
Hey i even have a spare air duct piece now! wouldn't have a clue where it goes??

Very doable with loads of patience! and a spare 3-4 hours!
