There was a thread here a little while back about the ignorance of people and C4's and how they very nearly ruined the corvette name when they "came out with that 305".
I was at the parts store last week buying an air filter, and the manager, not a young kid, started that very same conversation, 305 and everything. The early c4's were god awful but by the time they got around to my year they almost got it right.
Now I know I am still learning a lot, (yeah, I know, it's not an L-98), but this is ridiculous.
