the headunit was 475
I have a 900w amp running back to my back speakers, I got it off a friend for 50
I have Boston acoustic speakers all the way around, 400
installation was 300
I didn't get it all at once, I pieced away. Speakers were junk so I bought them when I got the car. Then the headunit went so I sold my old wheels to buy this one. Had the amp from my old supra I put in.

Very nice! What model Pioneer is that? I am also looking to replace the Bose system in my '91 and really like the idea of the double DIN with a touch screen. iPod docking is a must and HD is very close to the top of the list. What I would really like is a unit with a built-in GPS. My wife says I can buy a lot of maps for the additional price a GPS would add to the sound system. She just doesn't understand! And where did you get the C4 screen for the "Driver Information Center" display?
And what's that thing in the middle of the picture with 1 2 3 4 5 6 R on it? Mine just says P R N OD D 2 1 ???

It is nav ready, the nav part hasn't came out yet, it's an add on like hd or satellite radio is
I got the C4 screen on ebay, but they sell them at ecklers too I believe.
the 1 2 3 4 5 6 R is my shifter, its a 6 speed manual.

I had them hide the amp behind the passenger seat in that compartment. The foam in there is so that it doesn't bounce around. The installers said heat wouldn't be a problem since its only powering two 6 in speakers.

Nice work! I dont like many after-market head units but this is sweet!
Looks great because its flush and if I didnt know it was not an option (or it was a 91) I would think it could be factory!
Could you do something like this and connect it to all the stock speakers and wires that are already there?
