Default "While I'm under there"

Okay fellas, I just got my FSM so now I feel like I kind of belong. They've also kind of given me delusions of my own mechanical grandeur and I created a list of things to do. If anyone has suggestions for things to add or remove from the list, fire away!
1. Find/Fix oil lead (stupid and vague I know but I've got a tiny oil leak either coming from the pan, the drain plug, filter, or oil temp sensor.
2. Replace ign control wire (the purple wire running from the solenoid to the ign relay has a short somewhere that keeps it from cranking sometimes)
3. Plugs and wires
4. Drain and flush coolant
5. replace oil and filter
6. check Rear Diff fluid
7. Check Tranny fluid
8. replace cooling system hoses
9. clean suspension, underbody, and engine
10. change backup light switch on tranny

I know this thread is going in this direction but trust me, I don't have the time or the money to completely rebuild the car...just want to get some MUCH overdue maintenance done and clean her up a little.

Lube ball joints & tie rod ends.

Check all the u-joints for play, if they have grease fittings lube them.

Check control arm, batwing & dog bone rubber bushings for splitting, deterioration, oil soaking.

Check the c beam mounting bolts

So whatcha waitin' for muh brutha? Break out the toolbox and get to wrenchin'

And if you get in over your head, stop and ask us. We'll part the seas and make everything right again. It's what we do.

There's nothing on the car you can't do if you follow the manual, take it slowly and methodically, and use some common sense. But do change the brake fluid....hardly anyone does this, and I'm betting it looks like molasses.

Correct. Only on the 7 speed with Turbo Port Injection.

Default Thanks for the suggestions

Everyone, thanks for the ideas. I'll probably take care of a lot of these that I haven't gotten to already. I've done brakes so they should last until I upgrade, serpentine is done, and I keep the chasis lubed with most oil changes, fuel filter was done about a year ago, and I've been shopping for front and rear suspension rebuild kits so I'll probably save a lot of that for some time a little down the road.
On the comment about injectors...I'm not sure it will get done now but it will probably happen soon. My question would be, are there upgrades or do I replace with OEM?
I actually do have the seven speed, six forward and one backward so I probably should check that interceptor fluid because reverse isn't giving me the speed I need, and I'll contact that guy on Craigslist about upgrading my injectors to turbo.
One more reason to be very careful about your online dealings.
