Default Hatch release question..

I read in a previous post about the hatch release switches.
Someone gave advicce to check all of the hatch releases before buying the car. One in center console,on behind drivers seat and one on each door. I have a 95. I know there is one in center console and one behind drivers seat. Does the 95 have one on each door? I looked but cant seeme to find it. It took me a week to find the emergency brake so its very possible that I missed them or does the 95 just have 2?

Thanks

95s have one on the drivers door, and one in the center console. I'm not too sure about behind the drivers seat lol.

Never heard of one behind the drivers seat on any C4.

I don't think so...I've never hear of one behind the drivers seat...on my 96 center console and drivers door only, plus key fob.

You need to post a picture of that.

Here is where your hatch switch is supposed to be on the drivers door.

Just run your hand down the rear edge of the driver's side door panel. When you hear something like a muffled explosion you've found it.

The only one I can think of behind the driver seat would be on a convertable.

Ok, that explains it now.
I looked at his profile, and he does have a convertible listed.

So, he would have the release switch in the console and behind the drivers seat.

The hatch release switch on the drivers door is only for coupes.
There won't be one there on the convertibles.

It's always a good idea to list all the details of the car you own when asking a question about it though.
The C4 had a long production run, and there are lots of differences between the years.

OK, so I left at one tiny detail. Honestly this is my first vette so I didnt even think about it being on the coupe.

So from now on when I post I should start like this
"Hi my name is AC and I drive a covertible"

Thanks for all the feed back.

91 vert
Rear lid release switches
1 In console
1 behind drivers seat
1 on each door panel ( as in photo above) BOTH drvr and pass sides.
Manuel release for top behind drivers seat too.

Theres also supposed to be a manuel rear lid release wire somewhere, I can't find mine.
In coupes, in in the rear middle, under the sun shade.
