It was after. CE was blinkig really sporatic (sp, thank you MDG.), kinda flickering.
Hasn't done it since, restarted at least 30 times..hasn't happened again.
No codes...I checked after it happened. Engine ran great, even with the flicker.
Ran at least 50 miles after, no problems.
I'll keep an eye on it. I'll toss it up to an annomily, cause I'm in a really good mood at the moment.

edit.
It might have been cause i ran some carb cleaner thru it to clean up the IAC. It was shortly thereafter when it happened.
Btw, after using some carb cleaner....removed air thingy in front of TB, I sprayed some in the small hole located in th bottom middle. My "surging" which wasn't very noticable cept to me, has since gone away. Mike form McInnis told me to do this. It worked.

Well if you had the desire you could try to duplicate it I guess but I'm with you. Stay in the “good mood” state of mind

Not to be a smartass, but are you sure you replaced the gas cap properly after your last fill up?

Have you checked you clutch master cylinder, maybe it's low on fluid? I don't know if that would cause the light to come on but it's worth a look.

Light is driven (grounded) by the ECM so that could be bad, but more than likely, it's got an intermittent short to ground on the ECM side which is Pin A5 or the Brown/White wire at the Display. Of course you will have to remove the Panel to troubleshoot the wire. There is also a possibility that it's at the Diagnostic Link, Pin B which is the ECM reference for Serial Data. When that wire is grounded to Pin A, the ECM flashes the Check Engine Light and after a Code 12, it spits out any other Codes that are Current or recorded in History. I'd make sure it can flash a Code 12 and then check the Connector to make sure that A & B are separated. People stick all sorts of crap in the Link to Check Codes and if the Plastic separating the Pins is broken, the terminals could be touching and lighting it up.
