Default Volt Reading?
Ever since day 1, by the gauge, my voltage is always between 13.8 and 14.5.....never down in the 12-12.5 range. Is this normal, or perhaps just a wayward gauge? The battery is new, connections are clean and tight and the car always starts and runs just fine.

My 89 voltage has always been 13.9 to 14.8.. 14.8 at startup going slowly down to 13.9 after running awhile . So I guess your normal....WW
