Burning Oil
I've been working on my father-in-laws 1986 C4. Doing a List of items which includes. Heater core.
repaired digital climate control. new valve cover gaskets. New cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs. Installed new Maf relays (code 34). Non working fuel gauge. (cleaned wiper in tank and it started working). New mufflers and front wheel bearing. Things have been going good with the help of this website. 
I noticed yesterday that when I boot the car down it emits a large blue cloud out the back. This car has sat more than being driven in the last several years. Just wondering if this is common or if it might be worth trying some kind of oil addative for gummed up rings. Possible valve guides or seals? Has cast iron heads. Any ideas.
