I sense a switch coming along. The 18-25 year-old set seems to love the 'box' and the fuglier, the better. The new Nissan Cube, looks like a box with a saggy diaper all the way around it. Then there's the Kia Soul and of course the Scion 'Blah' mobile that's about as sexy as a milk crate.
The C4 is invisible to most of the the nose-ring crowd, but oddly enough, I've sure noticed a lot of head-turning from the 8 to 12 year old crowd. Can't help but notice their noggins swiveling around to get a better look at the car from the bus or the back seat. Could we be seeing a resurgence in things 'American' and (shudder) V8 powered and yes, sexy, fast cars?
I've noticed, even just today, that the "younger" kids turn their heads to look where the teenagers could care less.
Drvng outta my "hood" today, three youngsters, guessing 8-12, said Hello and asked me what year I had. They KNEW it was a vette.
On the other hand, teenagers, drvng age anyway, are more impressed with crapped out ricers and plastic decals rather than 20 year old has-beens.
Then again, wth do teenagers care about other than themselves.
Would you consider both acts her commentary on your car?
she's the next generation following those 12 year olds, so we know we've got about 6 years to make a killing with our cars (sell) or we're stuck for another 20.
Whew! What a relief. That is why I bought my car, so that I could impress the 8-12 year old set!
The real question is, what kind of cars are the 3-7 year olds impressed by?
Your pic of the little tikes car is exactly what I'm talking about! Ya almost gotta feel sorry for the little guys riding cheap plastic crap made in China. Back in the day, (let me lean back on my rocker) we rode the all metal AMF pedal cars!
I'm only noting it, not because I'm trying to impress the 8-12 year olds, but when you're at a 4-way stop sign and you see some kid in the back straining his neck to get a look at your car, you've got to wonder if the crap they're teaching them in school is starting to backfire on them!

My grand kids (3,5,7) really like my Red Sled. Papa also gets doughnuts faster than anybody else in the family. KK is still warm when I get back to the house. Sunday tradition
For those of you who dont get it.. From the movie in question Vince: Why don't you try Fat Burger from now on? You can get yourself a cheese and fries for 2.95, ******! Brian: I like the tuna here. Vince: Bull**** *******, no one likes the tuna here! Brian: Yeah well I do.
