Hey, I like the Vette (and own one) and dislike the cube and almost any other box car and Im in your 18-25 yr old range. I dont see how people can like the cube, it looks horrible! I do like the H1 and the kia soul has some nice touches for a kia! I also dislike ricers a lot and would take domestic over import any day!

I sense a switch coming along. The 18-25 year-old set seems to love the 'box' and the fuglier, the better. The new Nissan Cube, looks like a box with a saggy diaper all the way around it. Then there's the Kia Soul and of course the Scion 'Blah' mobile that's about as sexy as a milk crate.
The C4 is invisible to most of the the nose-ring crowd, but oddly enough, I've sure noticed a lot of head-turning from the 8 to 12 year old crowd. Can't help but notice their noggins swiveling around to get a better look at the car from the bus or the back seat. Could we be seeing a resurgence in things 'American' and (shudder) V8 powered and yes, sexy, fast cars?
Don't be laughing at my Daddy. Out here in ol' Virginia, thems is fightin words. You best be ready to stomp a possum if you're goin to flap jaws like that..

I figure part of it is just economics. Even though C4s are cheap these days, they still cost more in cash than most 19 year olds have, but they can get credit for cheap "new" cars.
Case in point: When I was 21 I tried, tried & TRIED to put together financing for what I considered decent "cheap" cars (in 1995) that is.
I tried to get a Challenger w/440, that didn't work, I actually saved up enough for late C3, and then I tried for a new SS Camaro.
Each time I either couldn't get the financing or I couldn't afford the insurance. Total catch 22. I ended up with a MkIII VW Jetta which I modded into a fun, if not good looking or good sounding driver.
