Default Bilstein Shocks

Was wondering if anyone has installed the Bilstein Sport shocks B46-1177 front and B46 1178 rear. Or should I install the Bilstein Heavy Duty. B46-2053-H1 front and B46 2054-H1 rear. If anyone has used the sport can you comment on there performance. 1996 vert CE
thanks

The B46-1177/78 are the ones I ordered. I have them but I haven't put them on because I had the car painted and I discover some faults in the paint, as soon as I can get the paint shop to take care of that. I will install them myself because my shocks are shot.

I have that set up in my 95 Vette. Get good tires and you will be able to rely on your Vette. When I say reliability, I mean taking curves on a curve with no guard rails knowing the Vette will not let you down.

I use BFG KDW G-Force, that is one hell of a tire

Did you have to change anything on your vette to get them to fit.

I've got a 94 vert LT-1, and I put the heavy duty Bilsteins on. P/N's are F4.B46.2053.H0 front and F4.B46.2054.H0 rear. I think the vert is supposed to use heavy duty because of extra weight (cross-brace maybe?).

They've been great shocks - very firm without harshness. Got 'em from Tire Rack because they were the only reasonably-priced online supplier I found that differentiated between vert and coupe for the shocks, so I figured they know what they're doing.
