Watcha think??
A fellow wants to trade me his `90 coupe that he says just sits in the garage (& has the dust on the engine to prove it) for my `00 Mustang GT `vert. He claims the engine has been rebuilt & while he was at it, it was Procharged. ODO reads 89,000mi. Supposed to look at it on Saturday. The `Stang is pretty much stock & has 50k Pics---->
He wants to trade even up!
It looks good in the pics but I always get nervous when cars have sat and are "dusty." Look for dry rot in the tires, hoses, and any gaskets you can see. Just keep in mind that things that haven't been lubricated in a while then start getting worked can fail. Just don't go into it thinking you won't have to put a few bucks in.

Regardless, dump that 'stang!
Good points If I get it & have to do work on it, I still have my `87 to putt around in
Oh, I forgot: Owner says that he used to show the car. Thats not the original paint. It is base gold, with red (candy apple??) over it. Looks good in the pics though.
Ive owned a 2000 GT ragtop with all the steeda stuff, and 2 SVT Cobras. No comparing a real "ground up" built sports car to a compromised pony car based on a 1978 Mercury Zepher. Trade that fox bodied, ford Fairmont in for a real car.

One thing of note. I know it's a personal thing but I'ld lose the red splash guards and put some black ones on that matches that black mustache that runs around the body. it'll make it blend in better. IMO

There are SO many of those Mustangs on the road that they just don't stand out very much anymore. Many are just beat to h-ll. Not much value in them and they won't be gaining any unless they are show car quality. Even then, maybe only $7000.00. Unless you need a four seat car, I'd say go for the Vette.
