I agree, doing something is better than doing nothing at all. It is a shame that this guy is still out there doing this to people. Again, good luck.
Well it seems the guy, who lives in PA just happened to retain an attorney here, who just happened to be the son of the Judge hearing the case. moved for the Judge to recuse himself from the case and it has been set before a different Judge for July 19th. We are also filing a complaint for "theft over $300" for the parts he took off the car which he has admitted to in two different text messages of which I have printed copies of and verbally to the guy I bought the car from. The teft over $300 is a felony in Illinois and carries a penalty of supervision and or a fine, and restitution. His attorney mentioned trying to reach a settlement but I'm extremely limited on that one as to what amounts, terms, and conditions are. Other than that it's the same old jerking around the guy has been pulling, but he also is going to have Federal problems if he keeps jerking me around. Oh well,

Their you go! A felony is much worse then a judgment. That will be your leverage in this matter. Slap someone with possible jail time and see how quickly they pay.
So, if you win are you going to get that '85 you was supposed to buy? If not then please let me know, I was going to get that car until I thought you were buying it.

Go ahead as I ended up in the hospital the Sunday before and out next day so everything is a little on the "low funds side" after paying the bill.
Doesn't look to promising at the time for me but if you're able get on it I kinda got the idea Brett didn't care if he sold it or not, but hopefully you'll be able to put the deal togeather with him.
