I've seen them come down in price and now cost less than the ACDelco Rapidfire plugs. I need to do a set of plugs and was wondering if these are worth a try. I'm not looking for any outrageous HP claims, just a good plug that will create the hottest spark using the otherwise stock ignition components.
I have them in my MB 380SL and I like them so far. Here is a link to more information on them and mainly the reason I decided to try them. It makes sense when you think about aligning plugs for the best spark, well with these it should be moot.
I plan to put them in my 93 LT1 once I get some other projects done.
I don't know if they are good or not but I do know Power Block TV can't be considered a reliable source since they are sponsored, in part, by E3.
Nothing more than an infomercial.
In a "blind" test (where you didn't know what brand plugs were installed), you would not be able to tell any difference (mileage or HP) between those E3's and fresh regular plugs.

Powerblock didn't do the test. It was pretty detailed if you check it out. They used a 3rd party firm and the test was pretty straight forward with decent test equipment you would find in most good shops.
Not saying they are better or best but they aren't any worse either and for me it's worth a try.
There was a thread recently in here, where a magazine did a test of all the different brands, about a dozen or so on a LT1. All of the plugs were very close in performance, within a few horsepower. There was a huge spread in the cost, from 2.89 a plug up to about 12 bucks apiece, IIRC. Coincidentally, the best all around performing plug was the NGK V Power, which happened to be the cheapest. Keep in mind, this was one test on one particular engine, results may vary.
Thanks for the all the input. I agree with the sponsorship of certain products on shows and in magazines and the bias for them. Its been going on for years. I'm at the point now where I am just immune to it.
I went to Pep Boys last night to get a set of OE plugs and they only had 5 left. I inquired about the E3's and they were liquidating them. So basically, I got 8 plugs for a little more than the cost the of the original R43TS plugs. I'll give them a try and see what happens. At that price, its worth the experiment.
I made up my mind last night in the store when I heard the price of them.
They're in, took less than an hour too (I love my flex handle 3/8 drive). Engine idles smooth and responds well. We'll see what happens in the long run. Plugs 7 & 4 were dirty, looks like those are the cylinders needing valve seals. The rest looked like they should, clean with the correct coloring, etc. I'm wondering now if those 2 plugs were what gave the high HC reading at inspection. Doesn't matter really, the new cat will be here tomorrow to replace the original one on the car. That's going to be a fun job!
