OK, I know I read something about this in the posts, but for the life of me, I can't find it again. I remember seeing something about disconnecting the ESC for a few minutes and plugging it back in for the computer to relearn, etc. Does this ring a bell to anyone, and if so, why do you generally do this procedure?
The computer doesn't self check the ESC till coolant temp is 195°. Then it adds timing till there is knock. If you want to reset things just disconnect the neg battery cable for a min.

that clears codes and a few other minor bits...to do a 'hard reset', do three x : key on for 15 sec with no engine run, key off for 15 sec.
if your vette has a stock engine and stock prom and running 1/4 mi., a 'hard reset' at the end of the staging lane just prior to actual run will likely result in better perf than even the 'learned' ecm resets from the return road cruise.
